I’m always looking for new shoes that are comfortable but most importantly stylish. Lucky for me, these Tretorn sneakers are both. I know what you’re thinking, I can’t pull off the stylish sneaker look. I hope to have you reconsider with this post. Plus, Tretorn is in the J. Crew Catalog for the Fall. Now will you reconsider?
I love the pink detail on these sneakers. I love to wear pink with navy, green and…
Sometimes an outfit just calls for sneakers. I just don’t think ballet flats would look nearly as cute in the outfits above or below. Don’t you need another comfortable shoe alternative for the fall? Have I convinced you yet?
I’m always looking for new ways to wear my colored jeans. I was inspired by a picture I saw on pinterest, I know that’s not surprising. What did I do before pinterest!?! I thought pairing this animal print belt with black accessories and my green jeans was fun.
I’m also always looking for ways to wear my “winter” looking accessories in the summer.
I’m a huge fan of leggings! They are perfect to wear while you’re running errands on the weekend! I mean, you still want to be comfortable and look cute! That’s why I love this necklace from RPM Creations. It’s the perfect addition to an otherwise boring outfit. RPM Creations also does my hair, love me some Robert Moore!
Here’s a couple things about leggings, I have searched and searched for a t-shirt long enough to wear with leggings, it’s kind of a pet peeve of mine. Anyway, this t-shirt from ZARA is perfect. I’m telling you ZARA has some good tee’s! Here’s another thing, when shopping for leggings make sure you can’t see through them. Do a quick check, bend and if you can see skin, move on down the road.
I’ve been telling my clients about the camisole trick a lot lately. It’s hard to explain so I thought I’d do a post with pictures. When I wear a tank top or any tight shirt I like to wear a camisole underneath to disguise any unwanted lumps, bumps and for a more polished look in general. As you can see in the before picture my bra is making unwanted bumps and I don’t like that you can see where my skirt begins. Put a camisole on underneath and viola, problem solved!
In this before picture you can see some bumps from my bra and my skin. After putting on a camisole underneath both are disguised and the look is more polished. I think I own about 6-8 different camisoles. I love this trick. I use it all the time. My very favorite camisole, and I’ve tried quite a few, is Gap Body Pure Body White Camisole. I buy it in small so it fits snug.
Speaking of disguising, I have another trick! Sometimes when I feel like my chest is front and center, I like to add a scarf to distract the eye. So now when you see me in a scarf you’ll know why:) Did I mention that I’m crazy about my red/orange purse because it goes with nothing so it goes with everything?!?!
