Second Hand Store? You Betcha!

I hope you’re thinking right now, no way that dress is not from a second hand store! YES, it is and the shoes too! Next time you have an event consider shopping at a second hand store. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I have two secrets: 1. It’s not your run of the mill second hand store. They only carry designer labels- and 2. I still haven’t found the perfect event for my dress to make it’s debut, anyone having a party?!?!

The dress is Diane von Furstenberg, one of my favorite designers. The second hand store is The Little Bird. I can’t remember how much I paid for the dress but I know it wasn’t more than $250. I had Birthday money!

Brian Atwood at a second hand store, can you believe?!?! These shoes had never been worn! Ok, these were a splurge. But I couldn’t help myself and I had Birthday money. Now, these, I have worn!

Hi Carly!! So thrilled to find you by way of my sister-in-law Sara Beth Verm! I adore this dress, shoes, the entire look. I’ve looked through post posts and am loving your refined, classic and simple style. I’m following now via Bloglovin’ and can’t wait for more posts! PS-What area of Houston are you living/pics taken? So pretty! I feel like some of it is familiar from my visit to see the Verms.
