What I Wore | March 31, 2014

What I Wore: Round Top

I recently went on a girls weekend to Round Top, Texas for an antique fair. If you’ve never been and want to go, you’ve got to check out my sister’s posts here, hereandherefor the deets. I’ve got the outfits covered -ha!

You’ll be seeing lots of items from Friday’s post, “What I’m Loving Right Now“. But, I need to add something to what I’m loving right now, and that’s my jeans. I didn’t include them because you couldn’t get the full effect before, but I LOVE these jeans. I haven’t taken them off since I bought them. I think it’s because they make any outfit look cool -ha!

The glacier blue sneakers from Friday’s post add a fun pop of color. I’ve been wearing them a ton. Just wait, they are all over my upcoming everyday outfit post -ha!

What I wore to shop.

I feel like this outfit could be a post all by itself for one reason, the denim vest. I still can’t believe it’s back -ha!

I love it because it’s a good solution for a number of reasons. 1.) I like it with this outfit, because sometimes I feel insecure wearing a white tank top all by itself. The vest provides some extra coverage… it’s kinda like my security blanket -ha! If you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out my post (here). 2.) It will come in handy over the summer when you wear a spaghetti strapped sundress and you can’t find your strapless bra, or you just want a little extra coverage. 3.) It accentuates a waistline in a shift dress or any outfit! See, it’s a trend that makes sense! Plus, it’s a great price!
