I hope you found a really great dress for yourself in yesterday’s post. Which one did you like the best? So far this one seems to be the crowd favorite. You all may know by now that I love the recent addition of the “casual dress” section on Nordstrom’s site (post here and here). That’s exactly where I found all three of these great casual spring dresses! You have to check it out!
I’m already a sucker for blue and white and when it’s a dress with a modern pattern, I’m sold hook, line, and sinker. I paired the dress with a dark bootie to add juxtaposition (this is about the only vocabulary word I remember from high school -ha!).
For a fun, layered look, I added a black vest. You could also add… Dress- ASTR, Booties- Rag and Bone, Jacket- Marc New York for similar, Necklace- Panacea for similar, Earrings- Nordstrom for similar
…a black jacket for warmth. The “diamonds” in the glitzy jewelry picked up the white in the dress. This outfit makes me feel cool, which is precisely why I can’t wait to wear it on a date!
I freaked out when I saw this dress online. I Had. To. Have. It. When it arrived, I tried it on immediately. I quickly realized that I wouldn’t consider it a dress, because I would definitely need to wear something under it. This actually made it very exciting for me, because all I could think of was all the different possibilities! Here you can see I wore my shirtdress under it. I can’t wait to wear it with with a camisole and white jeans and as a beach cover up. The possibilities!!! Now that’s my kind of dress or tunic -ha!
Happy spring dress shopping! It feels good to come out of hibernation, doesn’t it?!?
