Workout wear has become my summer uniform. It’s not because it’s comfy and wicks the sweat away, although that’s a perk, but it’s because if I don’t get dressed and showered for the day, then I keep thinking I’ll go work out. There’s my problem- thinking. Hahaha! So since I’m finding myself in workout wear a lot, I started looking for a few new “summer” workout wear items. And by “summer”, I mean new workout clothes and not what I’ve been wearing all winter. Hahahaha! Do you like my rationale? So when Nordstrom asked me to share women’s wear with you all, I knew exactly what I needed and wanted to share!
I’m loving the really soft knit at the elbows and…
…wrists. It’s super soft. I also like how lightweight it is, but that it still keeps me warm in restaurants, etc. It’s perfect to wear around town in Houston, and it will be perfect when we take a summer trip to Colorado.
Plus, since it’s made out of parachute material, I can throw it in my purse and the wrinkles come out in seconds. I also like that I can wrap it around my waist and it doesn’t add bulk. Shoot, I should have taken a picture of that. Double shoot, I just saw that they make it in white, and I like the white more. HAHAHAHA! Oh, well. I’m wearing a small.
I’m also loving this new tank top. It’s high in the front. My sports bra cleavage isn’t very pretty… trust me. This top is one size fits all.
I also picked up this outfit. I’m telling you, I’m loving white on white this summer- even for workout wear!
For workout pants, I pretty much only wear ONZIE. I’ve tried other brands, but I always end up wanting to wear my ONZIEs. Now, I just search by ONZIE on the Nordstrom site when I want a new pair of workout leggings. I also picked up this pair. I’d been looking for a cute white tank for my white on white look, and this one is perfect. A special thanks to my friends Donna and Elizabeth for taking my dorky picture!
I had to include this picture because this is genius! One day, my friend Whitney walks into DEFINE, a work out studio, with this gigantic YETI cooler on her shoulder. When I inquired about it, she said she came straight from the grocery store because she couldn’t make it home in time, so she brought the cold stuff in. GENIUS! I think I would have just said to myself, “Well shoot, since I have to go to the grocery store this morning, I guess can’t work out.” Hello!!! Just put your groceries in a cooler and bring it in. This is precisely why I am constantly in workout wear and not working out. Thinking… not doing! Ha! Let’s get creative, Carly!
