If you were on Spring Break, I hope you had a great break! If you’re scratching your head because you’re not sure it was really a break, I feel ya, and you’ve gotta read last Monday’s post.
I love the little signs of spring I see here in Houston (mainly the warm weather), but I fully realize that half the country is not seeing signs of spring, yet… (at least I didn’t when I was in CO -hello, snow!). Therefore, this post is for you, my northern state Americans!
If you live in the northern states, don’t read this part. You will probably be like, “Duh!” While packing for my trip to CO, I had a really difficult time putting together outfits. 🙄 I ended up packing way too much. I just threw a whole bunch of stuff in my suitcase. But I’ve come up with an equation for how to dress for cold weather for the next time I visit the northern states!
The How To Dress for Cold Weather Equation- Base Layer (long sleeve tee, turtleneck, chambray shirt) + 2nd Layer (jacket, sweater, cardigan) + Scarf + Favorite Warm Bottoms (jeans, leggings, joggers) + Favorite Winter Boot + a Winter Coat on top. Cold weather dressing made easy! Ha!
Wearing jeans that feel like leggings on a travel day is 💯!
Winter wear and a hat to cover my three day hair. 😁
