“Put Together”

When I work with clients I always ask this question (in so many words), “When you leave a room, what would you like people to say about your appearance?”. The answer is always pretty much the same- “I just want to look put together”. Me too! In my mind there is no easier way to achieve this than by just adding a scarf. I love to wear jeans, a tee and flats. Add a scarf to that combination and viola!– a put together look with very little effort. That’s what I’m talking about!

I recently bought this white long sleeve shirt from Nordstrom for $14.95… can you believe?!?!

I love the mercer pocket tee from the Gap for a short sleeve version.

Long Sleeve- Nordstrom (in store), Mercer Tee- Gap, (in store), Scarf- long time ago, Shoes- Gap long time ago, Bag- Kate Spade (black sold out online, but in stores), Bracelet- Tory Burch (similar), Jeans- Citizen of Humanity

Today I was with a client that loves scarves. She had a Tory Burch scarf (on the left) that she wanted to wear more, but wasn’t quite sure what to pair it with. I was so excited to find three outfits using the scarf. The picture on the right is her scarf collection. What I learned today, is that you can never have too many scarves. I think Europeans are on to something- ha!

I agree 100%. You can never be too thin, too rich, or have too many scarves. Put THAT on a t-shirt.
    Love the bracelet!

I love my Mercer tees! Perfect pick. I also love simple style – which I used to think was maybe not “blog worthy,” but then I realized that all most of us are looking for is just being put together on a daily basis. Great post!
