Sometimes it’s just not that easy to come up with outfits, you know?!?! Here are some ideas:
I really like how my flannel looks with my moto jacket…lumber jack goes edgy -ha!
I love to challenge “rules” in fashion. For example, the rule where you shouldn’t wear a necklace when the top is busy (like sequins), but I liked it, so I did -ha!
Black on black with a black and white scarf.
I loved that this was almost monochromatic, with the navy sweater and the blue jeans.
I think I carry the world record for how many times one person can wear a grey t-shirt -ha! Tee- J.Crew, Jacket- The Limited, Jeans- Citizens of Humanity, Sneakers- Converse, Flats- J.Crew for similar, Necklace- Club Monaco, Diamond Necklace- Nordstrom for similar, Earrings- Nordstrom
My clients tell me they really struggle with layering. I’ve tried to come up with a helpful formula, but I haven’t found one yet. For this look, I started off with a base outfit that was neutral, added the jacket and, although the scarf didn’t really “go”, it all still worked. Maybe that’s the formula. When layering, sometimes it doesn’t have to perfectly match to “go”, you know?
What’s your favorite outfit? I’d love to know!
