A Shirt That Covers

I’m trying something new today, and I feel like a fool that I haven’t thought to do this before. More than half the things I blog about, I find out about through a friend, from a reader, or while in a client’s closet. There are always pieces that we are all trying to find for our wardrobe (in this case a t-shirt that can be worn with leggings that “covers” both the front and back) and I know YOU guys have the answers, and we can ALL benefit from your knowledge!

I found out about this top from a friend, but now it’s sold out -ahhhhhhhh! I know, total bummer. So what’s your favorite t-shirt that covers…

both front…

and back?

Leave your answer in the comment section and check back tomorrow. I’ll compile a list, complete with all the different links. I know. Why didn’t I think to do this a long time ago!?!?! Friends helping friends, it’s glorious! So excited to see what you guys share.

Outfit Links:

Top- Nordstrom, Leggings- Nordstrom, Vest- Patagonia, Scarf- Free People, Sunglasses- Ray Ban, Earrings- Marc Jacobs s/o, here and here for similar, Shoes- Converse, Watch- Michael Kors

I knew you guys had the answer! Thanks to everyone who shared their knowledge, we ALL thank YOU! Look at all the great options below!

Here are the links to the shirts that I was unable to put in the scroll(y) thing(y). -ha!
Michael Stars $78.00
J. Jill $36.00

I found this at JJill this year. Most things there run a size large, so order a size down. They have a slight bit on spandex in them, so they are slightly nicer looking…

It is one size fits all – and even though it doesn’t look long enough in the pictures I am wearing it today (5’3 and 130 normally a size 6) and it covers as well as your grey stripe shirt in the post.

I got this Victoria’s Secret moto sweater from their essential sweater collection as a gift. I loved it so much, I bought several more in different colors. It’s super lightweight, so great for transitioning to spring. Or you can add a tank underneath for extra warmth. It’s 100% cotton and so soft & comfy! I wear it with leggings or ponte pants, and it covers my bottom. I’m 5’9″. Even better – it’s on clearance right now!

Great top for leggings or anything (covers the bum). Can dress up or down. Comes in a variety of colors and is affordable! Love this and have it in many colors!

yes, this is such a problem!! I love the shirt you are wearing in the photos, esp. the shirttail hem.

I’m having great success with Old Navy right now, although their shirts don’t hold up over time (boooo):

    this one:

and also the perfect vee-neck (wearing mine right now!):

So… I clicked on the Urban Outfitters Link because I liked the look of that shirt, and saw in the “if you like this, you might like…” section this shirt – which I also think would work beautifully! http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=29579992&color=060&parentid=MORE%20IDEAS

    PS, I love your blog.
