Everyday Outfits: A little outfit inspiration.
I thought I’d start with this one, because well, it’s the new year -ha! I bought these fleece lined leggings on accident (I assumed they would be too hot), but it turns out that I absolutely love them. We’ve had some really cold days and they keep me perfectly warm for my runs/walks, and I can’t wait to wear them on my ski trip.
I wore this to church yesterday. It was raining outside and cold. There’s nothing I want to wear more in the rain and cold than a blanket and some comfy boots -ha!
I copied a man I saw in a grey suit with a navy sweater and blue and white pin stripe shirt. I love that outfit inspiration is everywhere when you keep your eyes peeled.
My favorite black Friday purchase from the Gap.
There is nothing more comfy/cozy to me than a lightweight turtleneck. A friend asked me where to get a good basic turtleneck, and I love mine from J. Crew.
Shirt- Splendid for similar, Jacket- Topshop, Pants- J.Crew, Shoes- Nine West for similar, Fur Stole- Nordstrom for similar, Bracelet- Giles and Brother, Earrings- Malinda Maria for similar, Necklace- Anne Klein for similar
I often copy a look I’ve already done, and here I am copying the look from the holiday dress outfit post. I wanted to wear pants for warmth, so I switched out the dress for pants and a black shirt. It’s a little trick, because if I’ve already worked on the outfit, it’s nice to get the most wear out of it.
When in doubt, I pull out my grey sweater and go from there.
Is this look collegiate, preppy, or all American? I’ll take any of them.
I can’t get enough of my Saturday pants. I wear them all the time.
Flannel meets moto.
It was a sneaker and sweatshirt kind of day. I added the grey scarf, because it felt like an old gym shirt around my neck, in a good way -ha!
Jeans and a tee with a moto jacket on top.
I copied Rose from Downton Abbey with this outfit. She wore a navy and wine color combination, and it was so pretty. I copied her the next day.
DISCLAIMER: These are not technically “everyday outfits”, BUT they are outfits I wasn’t able to post before Christmas or on Instagram. Also, if you follow along on Instagram and I’m not able to link to the outfits, you will always be able to find them in these everyday outfit posts.
Only focus on the outfit, don’t look at the surroundings. HA! #mess
