Quotable

I’ve always been a fan of inspirational quotes and bible verses. I love running across them in stores, on picture frames, on Pinterest and on Instagram, but recently I’ve become a little obsessed! It all started when I spent the night at my cousins house. She has bible verses and inspirational quotes all throughout her home. I remember reading one first thing in the morning, and it helped me start my day on a good note. Ever since, I’ve wanted to do the same in my house! So, you can imagine my excitement when I came across this mug while shopping at a local grocery store! Talk about a great way to start off my morning!!!  But I didn’t stop there…

I was having a dinner party that night and decided that everyone needed a little inspiration first thing in the morning! I let everyone choose their favorite mug as a party favor. After seeing all the mugs (and quotes) the brand Quotable Cards had to offer, I started looking for what else they sell…

And then I saw this match box! My aunt says this quote all the time, so naturally I had to buy it. I love seeing it in my kitchen! I keep it next to my favorite tiny Anthropologie candle.

Then I came across this card and I was officially in love with the quotes this brand chooses for their products. You see, when I lost my mom, there were no words that provided comfort. In fact, sometimes the words in the condolence cards irritated me. I was in pain, and although I knew the words were well meaning and were offered in love, they were still irritating. It’s just that when you’re in that much pain, there really isn’t anything anyone can say to make it better. Anyway, ever since, when a friend has experienced a great lost or is going through a really tough time, I always write that I know there are no words that will provided comfort, but I love them and I’m praying for them. This card says this but even BETTER! So I bought 5, right then and there.

Here are a few of the other cards I bought. I’m starting a gallery wall next to my desk, and I may just frame these and add them to my wall. I found all these items at Fresh Market here in Houston, and I know Kuhl-Linscomb carries them, too. I found them online at Amazon, too. You guys have to check out all the awesome quotes! It might give you a pep in your step today.
