My Favorite Thing

Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm

“How can I help?” “What do you need?” The questions we have all asked our friends when they’re going through a tough time and we desperately want to help. Well, my friend came up with the best idea EVER for when we find ourselves in this scenario, so I had to share. We are throwing our friend whose home was flooded a SURPRISE (because she would never agree to it otherwise) “Favorite Things” party! We are all supposed to bring our favorite things! These were my friend’s ideas that she sent in the email- “a favorite lip gloss, makeup brush, earrings, bath soap/gel, body lotion, devotional/ journal, perfume, cute socks, shampoo, hair ties, candle– or whatever your little everyday go-to is!”

If you’ve been reading for any amount of time, you can probably guess what I’m bringing to the party. My favorite thing is Colleen Rothschild’s Radiant Cleansing Balm. I first posted about it over two years ago here and since then here and here. I don’t consider myself a beauty expert, but I might be an expert in skin issues. I’d become accustomed to finding pimples, red patches, bumps, white heads, black heads, dry patches, and oily patches on my skin. For a long time, I just thought that’s how my skin was. Then I started to use Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm and my skin started looking so much better. I had less bumps, dry patches and redness! Even my friends and family noticed a change in my skin! (Full disclosure: I did also start drinking a ton of water around this time as well.) Well, my skin looks better now than it ever has. Even better than it looked in my twenties! The balm smells amazing, and it gets all my makeup off without having to use an additional makeup remover!

I consider this face wash a luxury item I buy for myself, which is why I wait for Colleen Rothschild promotions! So when they asked me to share their products with you guys, I said, “Of course, but can I have a DISCOUNT CODE?!?!” Ladies, if you love Colleen Rothschild’s products as much as I do, this would be a great time to stock up! And if you’ve always wanted to try it out, this would be a great time to do so!

Do you use both the moisturizer morning and night?!

Currently I use the Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm and Aveeno Body Lotion at night. During the day, I mix Neutrognena Moisturizer and It Cosmetics CC Cream.

How does the actual party work? Does everyone get one of the favorites? Is there a price limit !

In our case, everyone brought their favorite thing to shower the friend being surprised. There is a version of this party where everyone brings 5 of their favorite thing (5 lip glosses) and there’s a price limit ($10 per lip gloss). Then everyone gets to choose 5 things or someone sorts out 5 things per bag. I hope this helps.

That party is a WONDERFUL idea. I’m going to remember that! And thanks for the discount code. I’ll give the balm a try!

Probably a silly question but did you buy multiple muslin cloths? Can you wash them in the washing machine? Thanks!!

Hi Maureen, I did not. I do wash it often, and now I have quite a few that I can alternate between. I hope this helps.
