If you’d like to see a before of this gift closet, be sure to check out the highlight reel on Instagram. I think you can imagine it pretty easily… crap everywhere -ha! But once again, Cathryn Linn of the Organizing Org waved her magic wand over this closet, and I breathed a sigh of relief. She has some really great ideas that I wanted to share!

1. Utilizing wall space with hooks for bags that are usually on the floor! YAY! I can walk in the closet! Usually, my pool bag and my bag of items to be returned are on the floor. How pretty would it be if I got some Land’s End totes monogramed with Pool Bag, Returns, etc.?
2. I love the plastic bins on the side. There are some items that would inevitably end up on the floor, but now I have a place to throw them! This way, they won’t be strewn all over the floor, prohibiting me from getting to my gift stuff. I also like how the bags and bins are on one side of the closet, so I can walk to the back gift area easily.

4.  I’ve never seen something so smart in my life! Hahahaha! That’s truly how I felt when I saw her solution. These bags, boxes and tissues used to be in the drawers, and I could never get to the right size bag or tissue paper. Now, that’s no problem!

I can see the size, color and occasion very easily- boxes, kraft bags, wine bags, general, birthday, holiday, special occasion, clean bags, tissue paper…. Isn’t she a genius?!?

The gifts used to be all over the floor, but now that the gift wrapping is on the top, she moved the gifts to the drawers!
