Everyday Outfits/Instagram Roundup

Sweater- Sézane, Jeans- J.Crew, Booties- Franco Sarto for similar, Earrings- Madewell, Necklace- Gorjana for similar

When it’s a sunny fall day, I gravitate toward white jeans. It’s something about it being sunny that makes me feel fresh and happy, so naturally, I think white -ha! And since I loved white and cream together this summer, I decided to keep with my theme with this outfit! I added the booties for a fall feel, and I love how the outfit turned out!

Blazer- J.Crew, Shirt- FRAME, Jeans- FRAME similar wash here and here, Shoes- Frye, Earrings- Madewell for similar, Necklace- Gorjana for similar

Breaking out of my jean rut has proved to be more difficult than I thought. Case and point👆🏻. Ha! But, it has inspired me to put more thought into my jean outfits. On this day, I had a few meetings, so I wanted to be a little more dressy. Plus, it was cool outside. Throwing on a blazer was the perfect way to dress up my t-shirt and jeans and stay warm. Just a little outfit idea.

Tank- Vince and FRAME for similar, Jeans- AG, Sandals- K. Jacques similar, Necklace- Madewell, Earrings- Madewell

This outfit may seem really simple, but I feel like it’s a really good case study in styling. Here’s why: It’s the perfect example of what well fitting clothes can do. Here, a regular ole white tee and jean outfit looks chic because it fits well. Well fitting clothes are what I build my wardrobe on. That’s why when I help my clients clean out their closets, I usually have them try on half their closet to see if their clothes fit well (most people wear 1-3 sizes too big). The next styling hack is that I tucked my shirt in to give myself a waistline (sometimes I do a sloppy tuck, but this time my jeans were high-waisted, so I liked the full tuck). There are lots of different ways to give yourself a waistline, just in case tucking isn’t your thing. Now for the accessories…The big hoops add so much drama, and the necklaces give this neckline some punch! The gold sandals tie it all around for a balanced outfit composition! Do you see it? I love getting dressed. It’s like creating art, even if it’s just a t-shirt and jeans!

Sweatshirt- Rebecca Minkoff, Pants- Paige, Shoes- Golden Goose and similar, Earrings- BaubleBar

Well, I decided to keep it (if you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out my non-itchy sweater highlight on Instagram). It was too cute not to keep. Plus, it worked so well when it was cold and rainy recently, and I wanted to be cozy but still look cute! Also, I stretched the arm bands a little, and once I did, they didn’t bother me anymore. P.S. I’m so grateful stores are starting to carry more non-itchy sweater options. I think Barefoot Dreams started an entire genre of clothing, and I’m all in!!! 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

Sweater- Splendid, Jeans- MOTHER, Earrings- Madewell, Sandals- Here and here for similar, Sunglasses- Ray-Ban similar, Necklace- Gorjana for similar

I love this sweater from Splendid’s collaboration with @GrayMalin! I’m wearing an xxs.

Tank- FRAME, Joggers- For similar here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here, Cuff- Nordstrom for similar, Shoes- Steve Madden for similar, Bar Necklace- Dana Rebecca, Cross necklace- Roberto Coin, Pendant- Gorjana for similar, Earrings- Madewell

I’m still challenging myself to break out of my jean rut, and who knew there were so many cute track pants on the market?!? When I was searching for a similar to the track pants I’m wearing (these are from Anthro last year), I found a ton of really cute track pants! It makes sense since sneakers are all the rage! I linked to a few of my favorite track pants I found while searching. Oh, and this is my new favorite t-shirt! I now have it in black, white, and grey!

Bra- Varley, Leggings- Varley, Tank- Onzie similar, Shoes- Nike for similar

I know this picture is #awkward, BUT I wanted to show you this matching leggings and sports bra set because I’m really impressed with this workout wear from Anthropologie. These leggings are soft, not see-through and extremely comfortable. And I’m really impressed with the sports bra, too. It was comfortable yet still supportive- how can it be?! The material is the perfect weight- not too thick, not to thin, and it’s silky. I also love the patterns they offer. I feel like their patterns are little more subtle and sophisticated and not the bold neon and geometric patterns that we see offered a lot in workout wear. It’s good stuff, and good workout wear is hard to find – amirite? For sizing reference, the leggings and bra run tts.

Shirt- FRAME, Necklace- Delamora Designs, Jeans- Mother, Sandals- TKEES, Cuff- Nordstrom for similar, Earrings- Madewell

This beautiful necklace from @delamora_designs is the perfect accessory to jazz up this jeans and t-shirt outfit! I love adding a statement accessory to mix up my wardrobe staples.

Coat- Kenneth Cole, Jeans- PAIGE similar, Shoes- Paul Green, Scarf- Halogen

I wore this outfit while on a trip to Carmel-By-The-Sea. One of the best parts of Carmel is the weather! It never got above 70 degrees while we were there, so I got to wear my coat, jeans, and shoes from the #NSale! Funny enough, the scarf comes from the #NSale 2 years ago!

Shawl- Madewell here, here and here for similar, Jeans- DL1961, Shirt- ATM, Bag- Longchamp similar, Earrings- Madewell, Shoes- Paul Green

This shawl was the very best travel companion! It was so functional and practical, not to mention cute! I was able to wear it all sorts of ways depending on my body temp and situation (cramped in an airplane seat- jackets are hard to take on and off). I could have used it as a blanket or a pillow on a longer flight. Plus, I liked that I could stash it away in my tote, and I didn’t have to worry about wrinkling it! I’m all in on the travel shawl! Thanks to my friend, Rachel, who purchased this shawl and gave me this brilliant idea!

Tank- Eileen Fischer, Sweater- Halogen, Jeans- DL1961 similar, Necklace- Dana Rebecca, Earrings- Madewell, Sandals- Splendid here and here

This dainty diamond necklace is a reader favorite, and I can see why!! It’s a great everyday necklace! I haven’t taken it off since I purchased it, and I don’t have to because it’s real gold and diamonds. P.S. It’s a reasonable price point (I should have started with that -ha!).

Shirt- Here for similar, Skirt- AG, Sneakers- Here for similar, Necklaces- Dana Rebecca and Argento Vivo similar, Bracelets- Here, here, here for similar, Earrings- Madewell

I’m loving my fun leopard sneakers! I’ve also worn them with black workout leggings and a tee. These sneaks just add the FUN to any outfit!
