I don’t know about you, but for some odd reason I love to see people’s nighttime skin-care routine. I always learn something, so I thought it would be fun to share my routine with you since Colleen Rothschild is offering 25% off their entire site with the code FAMILY25.
About 6 months ago, when I had my makeup done, my friend pointed out that my moisturizer and beauty products were sitting on the surface of my skin, making my skin look dull and dry. In my mind, I thought I just needed to moisturize more, but that wasn’t working. It turned out I had a lot of dead skin cells sticking to the surface of my skin. So, what I needed to do was use a product that would remove the dead skin cells, so my moisturizer would actually sink in and be effective.
Once I started using the Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum, I saw a huge difference in my skin’s appearance. All of a sudden, my products were sinking into my skin, and it looked more youthful and healthy. I was a little skeptical when I first used it because I have such sensitive skin and it stung a little, but a facialist told me that was okay and that often means the product working (I don’t mean painful, your face is turning red- you do NOT want that. This was more of a tingle.).
I follow it up with the Retinol Supreme Night Oil to help more with signs of aging. Traditionally, Retinol can sometimes be drying and irritating, but I have not experienced any of that with this. I think because it’s an oil, it’s more gentle but no less effective.
And because I struggle with dryness, I add Face Oil no. 9 on top of that. Plus, my husband loves how it smells (and so do I!) I even use it in the morning after I splash water on my face, just to make me feel fresh and hydrated.
Just in case you can’t tell by the empty bottles, this is a well-loved routine! I will definitely be stocking up during the sale to make sure I always have backups.
Head to IG Stories later today to see this routine in action!
Here are all the products I currently have and use regularly (and don’t forget to use the code FAMILY25):
