2 Sisters, 3 Pairs of Jeans

I thought it would be fun to show you all 3 popular denim styles on my 5′ 8” frame and my sister’s 5′ 4″ frame! If you’re looking for a new, updated pair of designer denim for the fall, we’ve got 3 great options for you from Saks! Saks carries all the major denim brands, so you’re sure to find what you’re looking for.

Here’s the high-waisted straight leg pair…

High-Waisted Straight Leg Denim: Re/done, hite V-Neck Tee: ATM, Similar Earrings: Nest

If you ask me, no one does straight-leg denim better than Re/done. When wearing a straight-leg jean, it’s best to show an ankle. It creates a long lean line under the straight leg denim. That’s why I had my sister cuff these jeans, and look how cute it looks! These jeans would look great with tennis shoes, flip flops, flats and booties that come to the ankle. These jeans run true to size.

Here’s the high-waisted cropped flare…

High-Waisted Cropped Flare: Mother, White V-Neck Tee: ATM, Similar Earrings: Nest

These are the Mother Hustler cropped flare. What’s great about most Mother denim (and specifically the two styles in this post) is that the entire waist band stretches! It’s basically an elastic waistband that doesn’t look like one! That’s why MOTHER is so popular– it looks good on so many women!  These jeans feel a bit dressier to me. The flare isn’t so exaggerated, and although the hem is raw, there’s no distressing. These jeans would look great with tennis shoes, flip flops, flats and booties that come to the ankle. Pair it with your favorite tee, blouse or sweater, and you’ve got yourself an updated cute outfit! These jeans run true to size.

Here’s the high-waisted distressed cropped flare…

These Mother Tripper Frayed Ankle jeans are so comfy and stretchy! Once again, the entire waistband stretches on these. These jeans would look great with tennis shoes, flip flops, flats and booties that come to the ankle. These jeans run large. I would size down one to two sizes.

GOOD NEWS! These 3 pairs of denim are included in the 25% off Saks Friends and Family Sale!

You know what else is great about all 3 pairs of these jeans?! You can cut them to exactly the length you think looks best!

My sister and I had so much fun working on this for you guys, and can we just acknowledge how great my sister is for doing this with me?!
